City Sampler Food Tours, Inc. is a Sarasota based company dedicated to showing off the fabulous local restaurants and cuisine our city has to offer.
City Sampler Food Tours, Inc. conducts scheduled walking tours with 12 to 20 individuals in each, going to several different area establishments that are locally owned and operated, to sample the cuisine of each establishment.
City Sampler Food Tours, Inc. believes this to be an excellent opportunity to show visitors and locals alike the wonderful, unique and tasty cuisine our city has to offer. This will provide the tour-goers the chance to discover the best kept secrets in Sarasota dining.
We also offer ‘sit-down’ style Food Tasting Events, which focus on an in depth presentation of culinary history paired with sophisticated cuisine served in a restaurant environment.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We have always been 'foodies' and have always been interested in the preparation, presentation, and (of course) taste of all differnt kinds of cuisine. We love to share our experiences and knowledge with everyone, in the hopes that they may taste and learn something new!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are the only company in Sarasota that offers our services.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We don't have any specific 'location' - just whereever our tours begin! We are planning to expand our walking tours to encompass different areas of Sarasota, and possibly Manatee county. We are lining up restaurants ever day for the tours and for the Food Tasting Events!
